WB Assistant Teacher Recruitment Organization: West Bengal Board of Primary Education is the authorized board for Assistant Teacher Recruitment, It  is an autonomous body under Govt of West Bengal in Department of School Education; WBBPE was founded in 1975 to make better provision for development of primary education. WB has announced 13,421 Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025 presently filling in primary schools in various districts of wb state. WB Primary Teacher recruitment is going as per earlier notified notification no.2141/WBBEE/2025/59R-09/2024.

WBBPE Primary Teacher Vacancy-Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the requisite fee category wise.

• General:  Rs.600
• OBC (A&B):  Rs.500
• SC/ST/EWS/PwD: Rs.300

AGE LIMIT

Age Limit as on the date 1^st January 2025

• Minimum Age 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years

AGE RELAXATION

Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (A&B), PwD, Exempted (EC), Ex-Servicemen(Exs) and Para Teacher (PT) in accordance with the extant reservation norms of the Govt of West Bengal.

QUALIFICATION:

Higher Secondary or its Equivalent with min 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Higher Secondary or its Equivalent with min 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Higher Secondary or its Equivalent with min 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

OR

Higher Secondary or its Equivalent with min 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

OR

Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education And TET (conducted by West Bengal Primary Education adhering to rules and principles set by NCTE)
